Fostering talent is a big priority of AXA Mexico. We have four early talent programs:
- Apprentices: AXA is the first insurer in Mexico to introduce the dual education system. In September, the third round of apprentices started a one-year program that is combined with school-based learning, thus acquiring practical skills while completing their “preparatoria” (high-school) degree. Five of those apprentices will receive an IT high-school degree and 10 of them an administration high-school degree.
- Trainee Juniors: Apprentices who finished their stay at AXA Mexico usually join a university. At AXA, they have the possibility to keep learning in a part-time model to finance their studies.
- Axelerees: For the 14th time, we have welcomed students from Mexico’s best universities this year to work on a project for 18 months while rotating in different areas of the company supported by their sponsors. Many Axelerees become valued employees of AXA Mexico. The highest ranked former Axeleree is Diego Méndez, today our director in charge of our fleet business.
- “Jóvenes Construyendo el Futuro” is a social program, launched by the new Mexican government for 18 to 29 years old unemployed. At AXA, we provide training opportunities for them in our operations center.
We are committed to inspire the new generations with our noble mission, to attract Mexico´s best talent to AXA and to provide them with state of the art training. Our early talents are an enrichment for our company as they contribute to our diversity – apart from being intelligent, ambitious and highly committed.
